On Monday we held the first T20 Christmas Open Golf Tournament at our partners' Horton Golf Park Academy course.
The 9 hole par 3 was a straight shoot out with junior players being paired with an adult and total scores for the pairs being recorded.
11 pairs took part and, despite a 36 shot range from top to bottom, it was close at the top as Teddy Stewart and his dad Mark (62) just pipped Sam Hunt and his dad Dave (63) to the title.
Two further pairs were in the 70s with the bulk of the remainder in the early 80s.
We will be looking to make this an annual event between Christmas and New Year.
