About the Academy

Our mission

At the Twenty20 Academy we are passionate about providing an opportunity for budding young players to fulfil their potential and enjoy a lifelong affiliation with the wonderful game of cricket.

What we do

We offer players between the ages of 9 and 18 the chance to train and play cricket all year round under the tutelage of our highly qualified and experienced coaching team.

The Academy is designed in particular to help support players who perhaps do not play cricket at school or only train and play with their clubs during in the spring and summer months. We help to develop their skills and gain extra confidence both on and off the pitch.

What we offer

The Twenty20 Academy offers a comprehensive 12-month programme designed to improve players skills and game awareness through specifically designed coaching modules and themes.

Our winter training programme helps nurture individual players as well as promoting team bonding as our squads will put these skills to the test in carefully arranged fixtures against local clubs.

Achieve your potential

Players who join the Twenty20 Academy will receive help and guidance to improve the technical, tactical, mental & physical aspects of the their games.

Our Academy enables individuals to grow their confidence, improve their self-esteem and gain new found resilience by problem solving and working in a team.

We are proud to produce players each year that go on to successfully trial for MCC Foundation, Surrey, Kent & Hampshire performance squads.
