Find a State School Superstar 2026 – Cricket Talent ID Programme
Open to boys in school Years 4–6 and girls in Years 7–9, we are once again searching for talented state-educated cricketers who would benefit from additional development opportunities to bridge the gap in provision between state and independent schools.
Phase 1 – Skills Assessment
- Westcott Cricket Club – 26th May
- Worplesdon & Burpham Cricket Club – 28th May
Players will take part in a range of fun, measurable cricket skill tests.
Phase 2 – Match Performance
- Wonersh Cricket Club – 22nd July, 6pm
The 22 strongest boys from Phase 1 will be invited to a competitive hard-ball match assessment.
The strongest girls from Phase 1 will be invited to a competitve hard-ball match assessment with our existing girls' players
Award
- The winning boy and girl will receive a free place in the T20 Community Cricket Academy 2026–27 worth over £1,000
- Part bursaries available for selected runners-up.
Eligibility: -
• Must attend a state school
• Must already be playing hard-ball club cricket
• Must not be part of a county pathway
• Must not be a current or past T20 Academy player
