David Fudge bio

David Fudge

Women & Girls Coach

David’s love affair with cricket began at his local state secondary school, where his passion for the game quickly flourished. While studying at Teddington School, he represented the Borough team, the Middlesex Schools XI, and made the County Squad as a fast-bowling all-rounder between the ages of 12 and 16.

David joined his local club, Hampton Wick Royal, where he played for over 20 years. Unfortunately, injury cut short his playing career, but his passion for the game led him to open a cricket shop in the heart of Teddington — staying close to the sport he loves.

Now a qualified Level 2 Coach, David has coached at Bushy Park Girls and East Molesey CC before joining the Twenty20 Cricket Company in 2025. His keen eye for detail and technical expertise make him an outstanding coach, helping players refine their skills and elevate their game to the next level.
