The Week Ahead

While England hopefully seal a 2nd Test victory early this week, we're back to work and have plenty to do as always.
Last night saw the Surrey Slam Indoor League quarter-finals and you can find the results here http://twenty20communitycomps.play-cricket.com/. The semi-finals and final take place this coming Sunday.
We start our work with Sierra Leone this week too planning for their high performance coaching programme which starts in February. We will be working with them to devise coaching plans for their Men's, Women's and under 19 national teams' training. On Wednesday we have a conference call with CricHeroes to go through their CricInsights functionality which will allow us to remotely monitor player performances in the Sierra Leone leagues which start early in the New Year.
We also continue our work with England Cricket Association for the Deaf and are meeting with Action on Hearing Loss on Wednesday to see how we can link up to support Deaf Cricket.
Coaching re-starts at Chessington School where we are setting up a cricket academy for year 7-9 students from the summer term. This is a really exciting project which will create the only secondary state school cricket academy in the borough of Kingston-upon-Thames sitting alongside the sixth form academy we have been running at Ernest Bevin College for the past three years which re-starts again this week too. We hope to launch more state school cricket academies over the coming years.
