Twenty20 Cricket Academy indoor training ends - the summer beckons!

This year’s indoor training has come to an end for the Twenty20 Cricket Academy and they are all raring to go for the season!
This year the boys haven't just been focusing on their technical game but also the mental side, working on how to improve their own game and working out the strengths and weaknesses of the opposition players and how to capitalise on them.
We have seen the improvement in all the boys and they are all looking ready for the first game of the season on 22nd April against Farnham, our annual season opener.
This year, every Friday, 3 boys each week have had 1-2-1s with myself, Rob and Dom where we have worked on weaknesses and areas they need to improve. Again, the boys themselves have decided what they want to work on in their self-development which will help them during the season when things might not be going well, they can come to us and tell us and their coaches at there their what they need to work on.
It has worked extremely well, and all the boys have turned up to each session with the right attitude and it has shown as they have all made huge improvements.
I would like to thank all the boys who have come on either a Friday and Sunday, or sometimes both. They have all worked incredibly hard and we all wish them well for the season with their clubs and look forward to watching them on a Sunday afternoon for the Academy.
