Twenty20 Surrey Performance Academy players sponsored by BAS-Vampire

Alex Yates and Kieran Meah this morning became the first Twenty20 Cricket Academy sponsored players thanks to our friends at BAS Vampire.

The two young players were selected by the coaching team to receive a complete set of BAS kit, pictured here with Twenty20 Community Cricket Managing Director, Darren Talbot.

Speaking about the presentation Darren said:

"We are delighted to have teamed up with BAS Vampire this year to supply our teams and coaches with clothing and equipment. It's great to see two of our hard working young players being rewarded in this way, we are looking forward to seeing them perform for us this summer."

The Twenty20 Cricket Academy has just under 100 players across the three squads going into the 2018 season and will be running trials for their new "Top 44 Academy" over the summer.

The Twenty20 Cricket Academy teams have matches lined up against the Switzerland national junior teams, G-Force Cricket Academy from Dubai as well as local clubs and a tour to Bristol in August. Details of all fixtures can be found on the Twenty20 Community Cricket Play-Cricket page.
