Twenty20 Academy returns this weekend for 2016/17 winter programme
This weekend sees the return of the Twenty20 Cricket Academy for our close season winter programme.
In recent years The Academy has gone from strength to strength by continuing to provide the ideal pathway for young cricketers looking to improve their games and progressing into district cricket or equivalent levels.
Over the past 5 years we are pleased to have seen over 20 young players get into the District Cricket programme in Surrey, and we hope many more will also follow.
This winter players will receive 39 hours of coaching from our full-time team of coaches and for this year will also have opportunity to play Indoor leagues fixtures as well
For the first time Twenty20 Cricket Academy have also entered a team into the Surrey Indoor Junior Cricket League at Richard Challoner School in New Malden on a Friday evening – fixtures and details to be announced shortly.
The winter programme will then be followed by up to 40 hours of outdoor coaching in the summer and a full match schedule for our under 11, 13 and under 15 squads including our annual match against the Swiss national under 11 team as part of their UK tour.
Training also takes place at Richard Challoner School (postcode KT3 5PE) which being just a few minutes from the A3 at Tolworth and around 15 minutes from the M25 is easy and convenient to reach.
The Twenty20 Cricket Academy starts back this Sunday (2nd October) from 2.00 to 5.00pm and will run alternate weeks depending on age groups (Under 12 to Under 14s start on Sunday 9th October).
Membership works out at under £4.00 an hour for those attending every session and match fees are included for the first time too.
There are still limited spaces available to join the Twenty20 Cricket Academy for 2016/17.
