Warm welcome to Switzerland Under 11s on tour


Twenty20 Cricket Company are pleased to welcome Switzerland Under 11s this weekend for their tour to the UK

The touring party are here in Surrey from Thursday 5th to Sunday 8th May with a busy schedule lined up for them during their stay, including a fixture with the Twenty20 Cricket Academy.

In preparation for the match, there was a great turnout by Twenty20 Cricket Academy’s players last night as they enjoyed a first summer session run out.

Twenty20 Cricket Company’s International division have established a great relationship with cricket in Switzerland in recent years.

Twenty20’s coaching staff have had the privilege of several visits to Switzerland and in particular to Basel in the last few years, whilst the Swiss contingent have also visited Surrey in the last few years as part of a designated annual tour.

This weekend again promises to be a busy few days stay in Surrey for Switzerland Under 11s with the Twenty20 Cricket Academy being their first opponents today at Deando Ruxley CC.

Tomorrow (Friday) sees the tourists set to enjoy four hours of training with Twenty20 Cricket Company coaches Robin, Tom and Chris from 10.00am to 2.00pm, followed by a match with Farnham Sixers.

Saturday brings two matches, with Thames Ditton CC and Rokeby School, before Sunday sees a further two matches to round matters off against Effingham CC and Cranleigh CC.
