Split to host inaugural Mediterranean Cricket League

Mediterranean Cricket League

The inaugural Mediterranean Cricket League (MCL) is European cricket's newest T20 tournament and is ICC approved.

The MCL will be held 2-5 June in Split, Croatia (Croatia are an Affiliate ICC member) and is a 6 team tournament open to all teams in Europe and beyond.

The Croatian Cricket Federation and Sir Oliver Cricket Club Split co-host the event and former Australian cricketer Simon Katich is the MCL Ambassador. The MCL aims to be a professionally organised tournament for ICC Associate and Affiliate member club teams and hopes to encourage participation and aims to develop European cricketers.

Teams are now being finalised and sponsors are encouraged to get involved in what looks to be history in the making for European cricket.

For more information just follow the Mediterranean Cricket League on Facebook and Twitter or just contact the Croatian Cricket Federation.
