Cricket Switzerland are now accepting nominations for teams for 11th Swiss Junior Cricket Festival in Zuoz (Saturday 4th June & Sunday 5th June 2016).

About the Swiss Junior Cricket Festival
The Swiss Junior Cricket Festival (organised by the Cricket Switzerland Junior Development Programme and hosted by the Lyceum Alpinum) is the largest gathering of junior cricketers on one weekend in Switzerland, and is the annual showcase for Junior & Youth Cricket in the country.
This tournament takes place in the stunning beauty of the Engadin valley at Zuoz, almost 1,700m above sea level, surrounded by snow-capped mountains. Teams from all over Switzerland compete in 8-a-side matches at under 11, under 13, under 15 & novice levels.
Overall, the objectives remain to maximise the quality of cricket and sharing the participation in cricket. The precise format and rules will reflect the number of entries received, and will be shared with the schedule in due course. Overage players are discouraged and would be restricted.
It is a two days event, so it will be difficult to accommodate more than 15 teams (8-a-side) in total (ideally 5 in each competition).
Given the restricted number of entries, each tournament should be separate, so no players in one age-group also playing in another.
Entries from combined teams are welcome.
Please contact Laurence Pariaug should you require any further information on this event.
