Surrey Junior Indoor Cricket League continues

Last month, the Surrey Men’s Indoor Cricket League came to an exciting end, with Wimbledon the victors for a 3rd consecutive year! However, that isn’t the end of the story. Twenty20 Cricket - Supporting Cricket Around the World

We have been very active around the world over the past few months and in the coming year too. We are currently organising a Surrey tour for two junior clubs from the Netherlands and also for the Swiss National Junior under 11 and under 13 teams all of whom come in late April or May. In Africa we have set up up a development and support group for the Ivory Coast, Liberia and Sierra Leone Cricket Associations to help them work together to develop cricket in their area. We have also sent over plenty of clothing and equipment over the past few years and are always looking for more to send. Wimbledon overcame Outer London rivals Hampton Wick Royal by an emphatic 5 wickets, to seal a 3rd consecutive triumph. Hampton Wick batted first, and soon found themselves in deep trouble. Trying to accelerate too fast, both openers fell to avoidable errors (a suicidal run and a hard-handed stab at a loose ball). As soon as Wimbledon got this opening, they were rampant.
