Just over a week to Easter cricket

There's just over a week to go until youngsters in Surrey will be taking part in cricket camps at Hampton Wick Royal Cricket Club and Byfleet Cricket Club. For many it will be the first chance to be outdoors and get some hours on grass under their belts before the start of the season. The course is open to 5-15 year olds - boys & girls. There are still places left on both camps. Bookings can be made online.

Twenty20 Surrey Academy fixture list taking shape

The 2017 summer fixture list is taking shape for the two Twenty20 Surrey Cricket Academy teams. The "A" team open their season on 23rd April in the annual season opener at Farnham Cricket Club. That is followed by a home match on 14th May. The "B" team start on 21st May against the British Tamils Cricket League Surrey Academy. Both teams are then involved in a triangular tournament with the Switzerland national under 11 and under 13 teams on 28th May. The "B" team will be at Windsor Cricket Club and the "A" team are at Camberley Cricket Club. Further matches will be arranged later on in the summer. Twenty20 Camps return to Hampton Wick

Twenty20 Cricket Camps are returning to Hampton Wick Royal Cricket Club in 2017. The first camp will be the traditional Season Preparation course at Easter on 10th-13th April. At this course the young cricketers will be appropriately prepared for their upcoming season be it at school, at club or maybe just playing for the first time! At May half-term we move on to our match play phase and there will be a hard ball Twenty20 match for the older, more experienced players every day, as there will in the main summer holiday when we will be at the club on 17th-21st July, 7th-11th August and 21st-25th August. New midweek Twenty20 summer league at Kempton Cricket Club

Kempton Cricket Club are opening their doors on a weekday evening for a new local Twenty20 league sponsored by BAS Vampire. The league is open to a maximum of 8 senior teams who will play a match approximately once a fortnight from mid-May to end July at Kempton Cricket Club. The match fee includes the cost of the ground, umpires and some food for the players too and all profits will go towards community cricket projects in Surrey. See the flyer for more details.
