The 29th Cricket on Ice will take place from Thursday 18th to Saturday 20th February 2016. Four teams will compete in a 20 over round-robin tournament in sometimes difficult & challenging conditions to ascertain the tournament winners.
As in previous years, drinks & lunches will be served on the ice between every match by Hotel Schweizerhof, while off the ice the black-tie awards banquet will take place at the Hotel Steffani on Saturday evening.

The T20 International sponsored Germany national Under 19 Team, which won Germany’s first men’s international tournament for 15 years in Belgium this summer, has won the Deutscher Cricket Bund team of the year award. The 16 man squad prepared for the tournament with four victories in four matches in Bremen over an English County side before travelling to Brussels and Antwerp to take on Switzerland, Belgium, Luxembourg and France. A final day win over France secured the much deserved title after wins against Luxembourg and Belgium. A defeat to the Swiss was the only negative point of a fantastic week of cricket. Zagreb Cricket Club have once again finished runners-up in their second season in the Slovenian 40 Over League.
After winning a close semi-final against Bela Krajina, Zagreb met surprise finalists Žabarji in the final in Ljubljana. After losing the toss Zagreb were sent into bat and despite a slow start managed to keep wickets in hand for an assault towards the later end of the innings. Runs for Chris Osborne, Paul Musin and Peter Armaan meant Zagreb scored a respectable 185 at the end of their allotted overs.
Žabarji begin their chase on the back foot by losing a couple of early wickets, but a solid partnership by Matthew Charlesworth and Mark Oman kept the hosts well in the game going
