Cricket Camps & Courses Joining Instructions
Addresses can be found here.
Times (unless detailed otherwise on the booking form, e.g. half days/shorter sessions)
Standard day 9.00am to 4.00pm (10am-4pm for indoor venues)
Extended day 8.30am to 5.00pm (no extended day available for indoor venues)
Please arrive no more than 15 minutes before the start time for registration so that we are ready to start promptly. Extended day starts at 8.30am, when offered. We may not be in a position to look after your child before that time.
All children must be signed in and out by a responsible adult unless written permission is provided to us at email@example.com.
Please register your children with the Head Coach who will be at the meeting point designated on our venues page where you will also find the address.
Your children will need to bring a packed lunch if staying for a full day, any snacks and plenty to drink (no nut products or glass, plastic bottles or named sports bottles only please)
If you have indicated on your booking information a medical condition that may require medication or an allergy, please complete a medical form and bring with you to the first day your child is attending and give it to our head coach. All medication must be in a clear bag with your child's name on. Please make the Head Coach aware on arrival that you have this medication with you.
Clothing & Equipment
Your child may wear any sports clothing (except football shirts). We recommend a t-shirt and tracksuit or shorts, plus sufficient layers if the weather cools down from current temperatures. A light waterproof jacket may be advisable if there is rain forecast as it may be fine to continue outside in light drizzle.
Please remember sun cream and sunhats for warmer days.
Boys who will be playing hardball cricket (typically school years 5 and up for those with experience) will need to provide their own protective box worn with appropriate underwear (box pants or two pairs of briefs). All other equipment can be provided but the children are very welcome to bring their own cricket kit and most who have it do.
If your child brings their own kit, please ensure that it is named or easily recognisable.
In the event of rain, we will provide indoor activities to keep the children entertained, where possible. These activities will be cricket related as far as possible and appropriate to the facilities available, i.e. in a cricket pavilion.
Any valuables are brought at the children’s own risk.
Whilst the course is underway, please contact us at 03455 20 20 29 if you have any questions.
