Cricket Camps & Courses Joining Instructions
Coronavirus Procedures
We will be running camps & courses to observe all government restrictions as they stand at that time, including any social distancing and equipment sharing. At the time of writing we would ask that all players bring their own equipment to use including a ball.
Venues
Addresses can be found here.
Times
Please arrive no more than 10 minutes before the start time of your session for registration so that we are ready to start promptly. All players must be collected at the designated time of each session end, unless they are booked on the next session too.
Arrival
We will be operating a contactless sign in and out system this year. All players must be signed in and out with our on site team by a responsible adult unless written permission is provided to us at bookings@twenty20cricketcompany.com.
Food
Please bring any food and drink that you child might need for their session or sessions. If staying for just one session there will be limited time for food breaks but we will have drinks breaks.
Medical
If you have indicated on your booking information a medical condition that may require medication or an allergy, please complete a medical form and bring with you to the first day your child is attending and give it to our head coach. All medication must be in a clear bag with your child's name on. Please make the Head Coach aware on arrival that you have this medication with you.
Clothing & Equipment
Your child may wear any sports clothing (except football shirts). We recommend a t-shirt and tracksuit or shorts, plus sufficient layers if the weather cools down from current temperatures. A light waterproof jacket may be advisable if there is rain forecast as it may be fine to continue outside in light drizzle.
Please remember sun cream and sunhats for warmer days.
Boys who will be playing hardball cricket (typically school years 5 and up for those with experience) will need to provide their own protective box worn with appropriate underwear (box pants or two pairs of briefs). All other equipment can be provided but the children are very welcome to bring their own cricket kit and most who have it do.
If your child brings their own kit, please ensure that it is named or easily recognisable.
Wet Weather
In the event of rain, we may be able to provide indoor activities to keep the children entertained. These activities will be cricket related as far as possible and appropriate to the facilities available, i.e. in a cricket pavilion. If government restrictions do not allow for indoor activity, the session may be cancelled at short notice. In this instance we will offer a credit for another session, if available, or failing that a refund.
Miscellaneous
Any valuables are brought at the children’s own risk.
Whilst the course is underway, please contact us at 03455 20 20 29 if you have any questions.
